A planning meeting for a partnership between two classes

A planning meeting was held on November 2 in order to establish a partnership between a class from Colombia and a class from Quebec.

Ana Maria Carvajal Duque is a  grade 1/2 s cience teacher. Brigitte Comeau is a high school science and technology teacher at Estuary School Board. Both classes will investigate and discuss the topics of renewable and non-renewable energy.  A  third class may be added to the project - the class of Julie Turcotte from the Rives-du-Saguenay School Board. The project is expected to begin on the Knowledge Forum by the end of November. A videoconference is also expected by Christmas so that the Colombian students can get to know the students from Quebec.
