First KBIP meeting a success!
On December 13, KBIP held Part 1 of its first international meetings to kick-off this year's theme: air and winds.
The participants involved Hélène Dufour's class (grades 3-4-5-6) from Quebec and Violeta Castillo's class (grade 6) from Mexico. Each class presented their research topic: the students from Mexico are working on the air pollution of Mexico city and the students from Québec are working on winds. Students also had the opportunity to ask each other questions.
Both classes have already begun working in the KBIP database.
They made plans to continue their discussion online - with each class agreeing to write notes to their peers in their peer's native language (ie. the francophones will send their messages in spanish, and vice-versa).
